Jeff Patterson
Jeff Patterson is an accomplished leader in educational technology with a career spanning over two decades in technology management, software engineering, and innovation. Currently serving as President of K12 Montana Inc as well as President and Chief Innovator of K12Panel.com, he has been instrumental in tech services and developing a web-based SaaS platform tailored to the needs of K-12 institutions. His work emphasizes streamlining technology management, reducing infrastructure complexity, and enhancing collaboration and security through cloud-based, zero-trust architectures. Jeff’s passion for education is evident in his dedication to empowering schools and districts with practical, cost-effective solutions that align with their mission and values. His efforts with K12 Montana Inc. and META reflect his commitment to advancing technology in education to foster a modern and inclusive learning environment.
With a strong foundation in computer science from Montana State University-Bozeman, Jeff has held leadership roles across various sectors, including Nike and Best Buy, before focusing on K-12 education. As a former Director of Instructional and Information Technology for Great Falls Public Schools, he developed technology roadmaps, managed budgets, and introduced 21st-century learning tools. His entrepreneurial ventures, such as Schoolhouse IT and EduEcoSystems, further demonstrate his expertise in system integration and innovation. A certified Fiber Optics Technician and Cybersecurity Rubric Evaluator, Jeff’s technical skills complement his strategic leadership abilities, making him a transformative figure in reshaping the role of technology in education.
Jonathan Reed
Jonathan Reed is an experienced operations and IT professional with a robust background in strategic planning, process improvement, and technology management. Currently serving as Director of Operations at K12 Montana Inc., he plays a pivotal role in optimizing organizational effectiveness by implementing streamlined processes, managing day-to-day operations, and translating strategic goals into actionable plans. With prior roles as an IT Manager at Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Company and a Network Technician at Schoolhouse IT Inc., Jonathan has developed expertise in managing diverse IT environments, including Microsoft Active Directory, OSX, and Windows networks. His technical proficiencies extend to scripting, automation, and database management, coupled with a knack for fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Complementing his technical career, Jonathan holds advanced degrees in church history and theology, showcasing his ability to blend analytical thinking with a deep understanding of human and organizational dynamics. His experience includes public speaking, curriculum development, and project management, such as overseeing data migrations and workflow solutions. From his academic pursuits to his professional achievements, Jonathan demonstrates a unique combination of leadership, technical skills, and strategic vision, making him an asset to organizations seeking to integrate technology and operational excellence.
Brandon Brewster
Brandon Brewster is an experienced professional specializing in technology and account management, currently serving as Development Manager at K12 Montana Inc. With a strong background in IT, he has worked as a Network Technician gaining expertise in technical support and network management. His leadership experience includes roles as an Operations Team Manager at FCR and a Retail Store Manager at GameStop, where he honed his skills in team management and customer service. Brandon's diverse experience reflects his ability to adapt and excel in both technical and managerial capacities.
