Features
A summary of each feature is provided below to help familiarize the coordinator with the purpose of each and what needs to be done.
Browser Firewall
K12 Montana will install this extension via Chrome for all users. This will monitor browser activity and block pages or links that it deems inappropriate or malicious. This module will need to be maintained continuously by the coordinator.
Inbox Defender
K12 Montana will configure Upfort Inbox Defender. This module will monitor the entire organization’s emails. It will warn users of fraudulent financial requests, scan email attachments for malware and ransomware, and thwart misleading phishing attempts.
Cyber University
Invitations may be sent out by the coordinator to specific users to complete training and progress of their training also can be monitored. The purpose of this module is to educate users on cyber security concepts.
Phishing Sims
This will send out automated phishing emails to the organization’s users and do an evaluation on their actions. This should be communicated ahead of time with the team by the coordinator. Then the coordinator will need to configure this and disable this as needed. Note: For Gmail, it is very important to check the box for “Opens and analyzes attachment” checkbox below to avoid a false positive.
